Chromebook Camera Not Working

First, please verify that you are running the most up to date version of Chrome OS. You can use this link for directions. If you are, then please follow the directions below.

If your Chromebook camera is not working, follow the steps below to troubleshoot. These steps will erase the user account, and this will delete anything that's not stored in Google Drive, so you need to make sure there's nothing you need. If there is, save it to your Google Drive. Once the account is deleted, you can not recover any data that is not stored on Google Drive.

1. Sign out of your account.

3. Next to your name, click the dropdown arrow.

4. Click “Remove This User.”

5. After that, sign in like normal and test the camera.
